Wes grew up in a family of professional jazz musicians and started collecting music when he was 8, he played in several bands and toured in 24 countries around the world as a professional presenter in clubs and on radio for 12 years before embarking on his daytime profession as a marketeer, multimedia and training professional. He has combined both careers since 1980.

Wes started collecting jazz recordings in 1960 and has a considerable collection. He started the JazzNet247 Project in 1994 when the internet was becoming popular to help the jazz genre and the artists to promote their music and has carried it on until the present day.

STREETJAZZ features Smooth Jazz, Great Vocals and Brazilian Flavours as well as some Soul, Inspirational, R'n'B, Latin and NuJazz. It is particularly aimed at supporting the music of the Indie Artists and Labels.

Wes sleeps, eats and drinks music but has a particular love for Bossa Nova and presents the specialist show on JazzNet247 Radio called 'Dreams Of Rio' and used to write album reviews for Sony Jazz, All About Jazz, The EuroClubdeJazz and The Sounds Of Brazil project for Scott Adams. He has an extensive personal Brazilian music collection of this sub-genre.

JazzNet247 and the STREETJAZZ show have topped the National Reverb Nation Internet Jazz Charts for more than 100 weeks in their host country.
